International Day of Forests – March 21

Caroline is a writer and poet whose main interest is writing children’s poems and stories. Up to about the age of eleven, she made up very elaborate stories, entertaining her family with them but never writing them down. Throughout high school and university Caroline was encouraged to pursue writing, and after completing a Bachelor of Business and settling into a job, she enrolled in a creative writing course by correspondence. Having spent her childhood on a farm, Caroline now lives on a country property and draws inspiration from the varied life around her. She competes and presents performance poetry – specifically bush poetry. Her book of original bush poetry, Riverina Rain and Other Poems is available at http://carolinetuohey.com/.
