Bruno Starrs – June 11 2017

Bruno is of mixed Irish, Maltese and Indigenous Australian ancestry. He is a graduate of six Australian universities, holds two Masters degrees and a PhD. He has taught Media Studies at various Australian universities and currently holds the post of Senior Lecturer in Cinematology at the Institut Teknologi Brunei. His publications include the novel I Woke Up Feeling Thailand and e-novels That Blackfella Bloodsucka Dance! and Bollywood Extras, a collection of writing for the theatre entitled Suicide Plays, extensive non-fiction works including many peer-reviewed film, media and/or cultural studies journal articles and book chapters, as well as the academic textbook Dutch Tilt, Aussie Auteur: The Films of Rolf de Heer. Bruno’s textbook, three novels, stage-plays and film-script are all available free at Smashwords.
